Sunrider Singapore Manufacturing Pte Ltd was presented with a Certificate of Commendation for achieving Grade “A” Status during the period of 2015 to 2016. The award ceremony took place at the AVA Food Safety Excellence Awards 2017, held in Singapore, July 7, at the Marina Bay Sands. The annual event is organized by the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) and recognizes companies that meet the highest standards of food safety.

Earning AVA Grade “A” License status is based on criteria such as factory cleanliness, factory housekeeping, food hygiene, employee personal hygiene, staff training, and the performance record of the factory. This marks the 17th consecutive year Sunrider’s manufacturing facility in Singapore has earned this award.

Related to the award, Sunrider Singapore Manufacturing was featured in special supplement sections of Lianhe Zaobo (the country’s largest Chinese-language newspaper) and The Straits Times (the country's highest-selling paper). An article in the latter newspaper, entitled, “Sunrider Singapore Manufacturing,” describes aspects of Sunrider’s stringent quality control measures and commitment to safety: “Routine microbial tests are conducted on production equipment and environmental monitoring. Finished goods are also analyzed to ensure all products meet the required quality standards before shipment.

Receiving official commendation for food safety excellence adds further distinction to Sunrider Singapore Manufacturing Pte Ltd, which takes great pride in providing consumers with the very best in herbal nutrition and healthy living products.
