Sunrider Mizoram held a charity concert in Dawrpui, India, on December 23, 2019. The money that was raised included a matching donation from Sunrider. Billed as the “Sunrider Charity Concert,” the event featured an impressive lineup of Mizoram’s leading musicians and entertainers, including Hlimhlimi, Gnie, Feli Thangluah, Israel Lalbiakrema, Manuna, and Vanlalhlana.

The fundraiser benefited two organizations: the Centre for Peace & Development, whose mission includes providing a transitional home for the care and protection of girls in need, and Operation Kingdom Ministry (O.K.M.), which cares for AIDs patients, addicts, and other disadvantaged people.

Based on the success of the event and in step with Sunrider’s commitment to playing an active role in supporting local communities, Sunrider Mizoram plans to hold similar fundraising events in the future.
